All I want for Christmas is…. a little kindness.

Nominations are pouring in for the Christmas baskets and we would love your support! We have created a Christmas Gifting Advent Calendar with some ideas to give this December.

If you would like to donate something to put in a basket, or team up with friends or workmates to get all the donations for the first 12 days of the calendar, we would be very grateful!

Drop off locations are:
Frankton: Mamas Childcare 5 mile
Arrowtown: 2 Thompson Street
Queenstown: Lululemon, the Mall
Or get in touch with us to collect.

Donations are needed by December 12th at the latest.

If you know anyone who is going through a difficult time, make sure to nominate them for a Basket of Blessing. Last possible date to nominate is 10th of December. Nominate someone here

We would be grateful for any good quality donations.

When the baskets team puts together baskets, we always ask ourselves, ‘What would I like to receive’?
Fresh baking, magazines, preserves such as jams or chutneys, chocolates, chips, fresh produce, fresh flowers, cakes, biscuits, crackers, dried fruit and nuts, snack packs, honey, slices, gluten, dairy and nut free items. Cordial, wine, coffee, tea, herbal tea and fruit drinks.

New toys for different ages, candles, novelty gifts, hand cream, pocket packs of tissues, after-shave, shower gel, sponges, moisturiser, colouring books or notebooks and pencils, stickers, bubbles, baby toys. Baby items, wraps, face cloths, nappies and wipes, new clothes, knitted items, hats and shoes.

Especially valued are donations of vouchers for supermarkets or petrol outlets, as well as vouchers for spa treatments, activities and restaurants – these give those receiving baskets something to look forward to!

** Please remember to list ingredients and leave your name on your donation so that we can see who it’s from!

Check our Facebook events page for scheduled basket packing days.

Last year, Baskets of Blessing delivered hundresds of beautiful baskets filled with special gifts and baking to families in Queenstown, as well as to QT locals in hospitals, who found themselves going through a difficult time. Please help us offer support and love to those who are in emotional, circumstantial or financial need..

Everyone has something they can give.
